Fifth-generation 911 GT3 breaks with tradition but still looks to deliver the goods.
Alongside the racing version, Porsche has arrived in Geneva with the new 911 GT3. Powering the hard-core 911 is a revised version of the familiar naturally-aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six that revs all the way up to 9,000 rpm and produces a whopping 475 horsepower. As projected, the new GT3 will be available exclusively with the automaker’s seven-speed dual-clutch transmission fitted with shorter gear ratios and sending all that power to the rear wheels.
